Things we are going to cover
This Slidejoy app review will cover my experience, how much time you’ll need to spend, and much you can earn.
What is the Slidejoy App?
The Slidejoy app is an advertising app that you see first when unlocking your phone. In all honesty, I am not at all pissed off with the ad that prompts up because it looks well-designed!
This app is that it does not require you to engage with the content to earn. Actually, all I do is swipe right (I don’t even remember the ads but maybe because I’m in Japan and I don’t read Kanji) to get to my business. If you do, however, find the ads relevant to your life or interesting, you can swipe left to interact.
So that’s it, you pretty much swipe left or right. You have to be aware that this works like a second lock screen so if you have another one, it will appear after Slidejoy. This means you will have to unlock your phone twice. If it does not bother you, then all is well.
Why I’m in it
I have tried several monetizing apps and websites before, including those that ate up my time and don’t give out much. So I’m pretty wary when it comes to my choices. Right now, I have no other passive means of earning online except the Slidejoy app. Well, if you think about it really, it might be semi-passive because you need to swipe to unlock your phone.
I know that somehow it will subconsciously influence me but I don’t mind. I see ads every day on the internet, daily life, social media, and more so another set won’t hurt. I know what I need and “wants” are sort of a luxury when you’re a student so I don’t mind seeing ads. I use my phone frequently, too. So why not make money out of using my smartphone, right?
How much you’ll earn
This isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme. Neither will this pay the bills. This app will only give you change. If you are a frequent phone user, you might get as much as 5 dollars per month. I earn around 1000 carats per week which is equivalent to 1 dollar. Depending on where you are, you can redeem it via Paypal, or use it to redeem gift cards. For Japan, we only have this:
Redeeming your earnings
Once I reach first monthly earnings, I’ll update this post!
So on the first few days I eaarned a lot of points but later on, I could even get past 2000 points (2 dollars) after 3 months. I got pissed off because swiping left everytime is such a pain in the ass and I felt less than a dollar per month is not worth the effort so I uninstalled mine. Tell me about your experience below! 🙂
Have you tried the Slidejoy app? If so, how was your experience? Comment below! <3
