Basic Nabe Broth

Nabe warms the soul.

It’s autumn and there’s no better way to warm up than sharing a hot pot of nabe with family. Nabe is a Japanese soup usually served in a ceramic poth or cooked in the table with a portable stove. This basic Nabe broth can get you started along with a few basic ingredients:

1. Meat or Mixed seafood (Fish, shrimp, etc.)

2. Mushrooms

3. Cabbage

4. Bean sprouts

5. Carrots

6. Spring onion

Feel free to add any vegetable you fancy but take note to add the ingredients that require longer cooking time first.

Enjoy! Happy Nabe-ing!
